GLAX

This is my latest Nibblefest piece, our theme for October is Native / Tribal. It was listed a little late & I had actually forgotten to post it here (a lot of stuff has been going on to keep me from working, October has been a particularly difficult month!):


"GLAX”

Ever wonder about the origins of Totem Poles - who started them and such? Contrary to popular belief, it wasn’t the Native Americans - it was the Martians, and here’s your proof! Glax is really proud of her creation, but can you blame her? Especially when you consider what a trend it started?

    Wes - you did a great job on your NFAC piece, I love seeing your work.

    Valerie, I hope I'm finally getting it w/acrylics - so much stuff has been going on lately that's been keeping me from painting though. I remember a few years ago you'd explained your technique to me so I went out & bought some acrylics but couldn't get the hang of it. I guess I just wasn't ready yet, and was probably trying a technique that wasn't right for me. You use fluid acrylics, right?
