Mr. Wibbley & meSince tonight was spent taking Violet trick-or-treating, we'll be celebrating tomorrow by going to the Chiller Theatre Convention (the pic above was taken at the last one in April). I don't bother getting autographs (other than Adam West last year at Dragon*Con) but it's fun seeing the celebrities - this year Patrick Stewart will be there (although I'll pass on the $100 photo op)!

The $100 photo op w/Patrick Stewart was sold out, I couldn't afford it at this point anyway. I did pay $50 (I think) last year for the one w/Adam West but he was a real disappointment (he was kind of dicky), I can't imagine Patrick Stewart being like that though. We didn't get to see him unfortunately, they had him squirreled away in a separate section but we did see some other celebrities: Mark Goddard (Don West from Lost in Space, his last appearance at a con), Linda Blair, David Johannsen, Robey (from Friday the 13th tv series), Peter Fonda, Barbara Feldon, Dawn Wells, Davy Jones - I'm sure there were more. As usual I'm not quite sure why some of these folks were at a horror/sci fi con, but who knows. Oh, Zacherley was there too, he's 91 now and looked fantastic (which I unfortunately couldn't say for most of the other celebrities there!)
