I painted this little guy as a birthday gift for my boss who turned 50 on Monday. I don't usually give artwork as gifts but I really appreciate him and this job (plus I have no money to spare!) so I was happy to paint this. I just hope he likes it!

Thanks Valerie, Ayala and Lilly! My boss liked it very much, he has it in his office so I can see it every day I'm at work - I was hoping he'd leave it at work for that reason.

Nice gift! Its funny, but it looks like my little dog when she was a puppy. She sort of "grew into" her eyes! She's a Llasa / toy Poodle mix.

Thanks Anony - I think! :) Sorry, I'm really not seeing how the puppy looks like she's about to morph into something else but maybe it's just because I'm so used to my own style that I don't notice the same things that other people do. Unless by chance you meant to comment on my Soft and Fuzzy Johnson post instead? Soft and Fuzzy Johnson has been known to morph on occasion.
