30/30 Challenge, Day Twenty One: Something different - Lola

For  Painting #21 I decided to try something a little different - paint more realistically, something I haven't done in many years.  This is a portrait of my son's Boston Terrier, Lola.  Lola is one of my favorite creatures in the world.

    Awww! Go you! I've been trying to push myself, too. It's good for us, right?!

    Lola is a great name for a dog, and she looks like a beauty! Great work!

    Thanks Ann! I was a little nervous at first but surprisingly found it went quicker than my regular paintings - I guess having real reference helps, lol! I think I will do more like this, although when I do my regular work it's fun because I never really know what it will end up looking like :)
