Some of you may remember Squawky from one of last years' 29 faces.  After he got rid of his spots (he had the measles too) he insisted on a new portrait.

29 Faces: Days 18 & 19 - Squawky and Violet

I'm still catching up, that'll teach me to slack off!  I thought these two go together so well that I had to post them together, like a set:

I felt I should include at least one human face in this challenge, so of course I drew Violet, upon whom all of my human girl characters are based.  Squawky on the other hand is just Squawky.

29 Faces Challenge - Day 21: Pidgey

I'm doubling up today's face with a project for another art group I belong to - the theme for that was just "Birds."

In case anyone's interested, I used Genesis heat set oils for Pidgey's little portrait.

This is another tiny painting, it's about 1.5 x 1.5ish, acrylic on YUPO. I think I'm going to do more with YUPO, I really like it!
